Paperback Castles

I live on a page in a book. My name is written in a curly and swirly font, along with long descriptions of sleepless nights and filled bookcases.

The Virgin Suicides: Reissued - Jeffrey Eugenides Sadly this is one of those times where I have done things the wrong way, and watched the movie before I read the book. Luckily it did not spoil anything; the movie and the book are in perfect unison, when it comes to capturing the heavy mood and mythologic atmosphere.

What I specifically enjoyed about "The Virgin Suicides" by Jeffrey Eugenides, was the emotional and yet distanced narrator, who wrote about the Lisbon sisters with a subtle note of real agony and constant devotion.

This is one of those rare books, that sends you into a whirlwind of thoughts and endless questions, and chances are it will make a deep impact on you.
